We film wedding videos and are located on the Hertfordshire & Essex border. We are ideally placed to film at venues such as Fanhams Hall, Hanbury Manor, Woodson Park, Broxbourne Civic Hall, Manor of Groves, Hatfield House, Paradise Wildlife Park, Gaynes Park Barns, Down Hall Hotel & Blake Hall.

Coverage of your Special Day
We will film your wedding as discreetly as possible using our Sony Z1 professional handheld camera. We believe it is your special day, not a television production. Our standard package starts at the wedding venue 1 hour before the ceremony and we will film the arrival of your guests, the groom and the bridal party. We will film the ceremony (if permissible) and a small radio microphone will be placed on the groom’s jacket to capture the vows clearly. We will film your guests and the photo’s being taken after the ceremony. We will also film the receiving line, the speeches, the cake cutting and the 1st dance, we normally film some of the dancing until 10pm but can stay later by prior arrangement. We can place a radio microphone on the top table at the reception to help capture the speeches clearly. (The use of radio microphones is dependant on local conditions, if the church or other venue also uses radio microphones then we ideally need to know the frequencies they use in advance). We always carry a small top of the range High Definition video camera so we have a backup camera immediately available, just in case. Our cameraman has received camera training from the BBC.
A non-refundable booking fee of £150 will secure us for your special day with the balance to be paid (cleared funds) by 10 days before the ceremony.
Final DVD
We have recently invested in an industry standard Apple Final Cut Studio HD edit suite running on a Mac Pro to edit your video. Our standard package includes 5 copies of the final DVD,1 copy will be presented in a luxury white soft padded book style case for the Bride & Groom and the other 4 copies will be presented in high quality white plastic cases with a choice of embossed wording on the front (subject to availability). Other case options are available at additional cost. As well as the full wedding video we also provide a highlights montage set to music. We can include your choice of background music in the video and we have over 6,000 tracks available in our CD collection. We aim to deliver the initial edit for approval between 2 & 4 weeks after the wedding.
We purchase the relevant MCPS & PPL licenses, to allow us to record music which is part of your ceremony and use copyright recorded music in the final DVD. We can provide copies of the MCPS licence if the church or wedding venue need to see it.
Insurance
We have £5 million Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Other Information
Most churches will have guidelines for filming weddings and restrictions on where the video camera can be positioned. Unfortunately there are also a few venues which won’t allow the wedding ceremony to be filmed. It is the client's responsibility to find out if there are any restrictions on videography at the wedding venue and to notify us of any issues well in advance.
Churches will usually charge you a fee for allowing you to have your wedding service filmed. Individual churches set their own fee so they can vary significantly. We have seen fees as low as £15 and as high as £200 so please check with the church when you are arranging the wedding. The client is responsible for paying this fee to the church and we won’t be allowed to film if it hasn’t been paid.
As an Associate member of the Institute Of Videography we use IOV approved contracts and you have access to their free Arbitration Service.
